Branding Circonomy

My role in the project

Creative Director and Designer

Background

The World’s Biggest Garage Sale had partnered with Officeworks, Priceline and others to create a new organisation aimed at repairing and reusing damaged stock to work towards a circular economy, this became Circonomy.

Solution

In my capacity as Design Director for Republic of Everyone, I worked with the team to create 3x concepts for the brand direction, based on their positioning Waste Nothing, and their goals for reuse. These concepts were refined over multiple rounds to create the final brand.

The logo represents the concept of reuse, and forms a looped C to clearly reference the brand name. The colour palette is vibrant and varied to represent the different stakeholders and product ranges, whilst bringing a sense of energy to this new endeavour.

Once I’d established the brand, I managed the team to create brand guidelines and a series of supporting assets including uniforms, merchandise and instore signage.
