Background

In 2015 I had recently arrived in the UK, where they were excited to be hosting the Rugby World Cup. As a major global sporting event, lots of collateral was needed to launch the event successfully and this is where my team came in.

Solution

I took on the role of lead designer and brand guardian, working closely with the CD and artworking team to ensure everything we produced was true to the RWC brand, and captured the attention and excitement of spectators and players alike.

This included everything from spectator guides and maps, playbooks, OOH & certificates to creating bespoke illustrations and infographics. It was a hugely unique project to be involved with and resulted in one of the most successful world cup events to date.
